REALLY wanted breakfast but settled for a spoon of protein powder in my coffee. Wanted a midmorning snack at the gas station and settled for coffee again but this time with a 10kcal spoon of creamer. Was going to skip lunch or have protein shakes but decided to eat pork loin instead. Good choice as it took the edge off, gave me the same protein and it needed to be eaten. At dinner I left half my chicken fried steak, skipped dessert and only had one tiny bite of hubbys cake. (Thumbnail sized bite) I did all that up until dinner so that I could have a big meal and maybe dessert. Decided a snickers was more important to me than a 500-1000 calorie dessert that never lives up to my expectations anyway.

By all rights I should’ve lost it several times tonight but I didn’t. Looks like we need to reaffirm boundaries and how WE invite people and they don’t invite themselves or make changes to our plans (ours being me hubby and kids). I was more pleased with myself over that than the food honestly. Also learned my 4 yo listens and hears more than I thought. Thankfully she could be diverted and once she changed the subject on her own. Later she said she had thought m, as she was talking, that maybe we didn’t want her telling it so stopped. Pretty awesome for 4 years old! This will catch up tomorrow I’m sure. Going to be a stressful day! I’m starring at my treat and all I can think of are happy thoughts and how good it’s going to taste lol.

Also had a massage today. Last month I was in pain the next day. As of right now when I try to rub my shoulder I’m almost in tears haha. Already tensing up after tonight though. Maybe a nice hot bath while I have a Coke Zero cherry and nibble my snack ;). Sigh, I may have to eat an apple so as to not feel bad later for this candy bar lol. But probably not 😆.
