59Carol's Journal, 18 Sep 18

I had to make a few quick changes this morning. I slept in so I chose to eat my porridge and drink my kombucha before going to exercise. No problem. Small change. Went downstairs in the hotel to find my spot for exercising is all set up for a meeting. Tables, place settings, beverage station....not going to be able to set up my computer to do an exercise CD. Went back to the room. Chose a different routine that is a half hour long put the CD on very quiet to not bother my husband. He had a chemo treatment yesterday and had slept poorly. I did not want to blare my cardio portion so no cardio today. I have done an hour of exercise for 15 days in a row so figure one day at half an hour will be just fine! I have just made my favorite tea and am really enjoying it. I have the salad I made in the frig and a can of tuna to go with it. I should be good on the food front until supper. Supper will be challenging as I have nothing made and we will be tired when we get home. Recipe for disaster as far as making good choices. I will be mulling this over today to see what I come up with. Tomorrow we will be home and routines can go back into place.

I always like to get a roasted chicken if I can't think of what to have, or scrambled eggs which can be customized for each person.

What a good idea! We pass a grocery store that is an hour from home that has roasted chicken. I think it should be okay in the car for an hour. Especially in the trunk as it is cool here. It is 43F here today.
