59Carol's Journal, 17 Sep 18

Dealing with hotel and medical appointments was a concern. I made a plan before I left. So somethings are doing well and somethings could be better. I enjoyed my oatmeal this morning so cooking it ahead and nuking it later works. Good to know! I took my salad to the chemo room and ate it there. My husband wasn't fond of the smoked tuna smell so I moved a ways away from the patients. Smells can be hard going during chemo treatment. Supper was not as good of choices - some Papa John food.

I got up early this morning and took my computer downstairs with me. I took over the family room where I was able to do the exercise CD I use, borrow some hand weights from the exercise room and play utube music to do cardio to. Did the full hour! Felt good for me and didn't wake up my husband too early.

Treatment took a long time - we left at 9:30 am and was finished at 3:30 pm. We are back at the hotel now for the night. We'll head home tomorrow.
