Happy Wednesday everyone. First day back to work after a trip to San Francisco to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Other than having a fantastic weekend there are no real issues to report. I simply followed my WOE and everything stayed on track. We were able to find great restaurants that had workable choices - so it was pretty easy to manage the macros. My lesson learned is that my evening BGL level is directly related to the time I eat and the number of carbs in that meal. My intermediate insulin is all done in my system by about 6:30pm and I have to greatly reduce the number of carbs in a meal after 7pm. As long I target about 30 carbs in the evening meal my numbers stay really close to 90mg/dl - which I am ok with and my mornings stay at the mid 80 level. I was able to eat really well and not feel like I was missing out. My pancreas is not going to be my master. Life is awesome and I am so grateful for you all and this site. I hope everyone had a great weekend and finds joy in the pursuit of their dreams.
