Anyone know of a low calories home remedy for a sinus infection? I have severe allergies. Seems to be mostly weeds right now. Right gland is sore and starting to get a bit swollen. Nose alternating running and stuffed. Pressure all over my head. Starting to hurt to swallow. Took Claritin as per oncologist’s orders (she told me this over a year ago but decided to take that advice again), hot coffee this morning then switched to hot tea. Caffeine usually doesn’t effect my sleep but I don’t want to take a chance tonight. Normally I’d make super hot tea with lemon and honey. However honey is 60 cal per Tbsp and I normally use 3-4 per large cup. 😳 I would normally keep drinking this all day as long as my throat hurt. I can’t even imagine how many calories of honey I’d consume lol. I’d guess my whole 1200 low end 😖.

Oh and I don’t really care if it’s CICO, Keto, paleo or any other diet. Just so long as I have the ingredients or can get them in the morning and it works. Oh and no weird stuff like mushrooms, beans, fish, dairy etc. Some things like that I can’t eat but I’m guessing those wouldn’t be in a home remedy for sinus infections and sore throats ;). Many thanks if anyone knows something that works that’s lower calorie than my lemon honey tea!!
