Good Monday morning everyone. It is a great day. Had an amazing weekend where I went out of town to my Dad's best friends Birthday; He's 81. Good food and conversation. Discussed health and life changes for the two of us. On the Food and health aspect - my lesson learned is that being carful on the injection site is important. Ended up with a small reaction yesterday and hit muscle this morning. Made for a few uncomfortable hours on each day. Just have to remember to slow down and find a fatty spot to jamb the needle in. Still - just really grateful to be here to have this experience. Found a cool restaurant at Donner lake on the drive home. Quirky and fun - had a burger on sourdough - that didn't soak the bread in butter or grease which was a nice surprise. Skipped the fries for a house salad and all the numbers worked out. Great lunch and a breathtaking view with my awesome wife. Perfect day. I hope that you all continue to pursue your joy on this adventure.
