Still within what I consider ‘acceptable’ calories. About 1550-1600. Not diet level but still around or just under maintenance with my current activity. I decided I’d eat until stuffed but eat the veggies first. I have at least half the potatoes left and 3 of the 8oz of meat left. The waiter knew approximate ounces for the steak and I could eyeball the potatoes and gravy. Guessed on the broccoli but hey 20-40 calories aren’t going to make that much difference and I added a bit more butter than I used to make up for the small fried alligator ball I tried. First day of vacation has been a success as to staying under 2k calories! Now a bit of popcorn with the family unless I can convince them I’d rather have almonds and can still be part of the group without pigging out on buttery popcorn. I brought along 1oz of almonds, 1 oz dried apricots and a few beef jerky sticks for when they are ok with me having ‘diet’ foods :). Saved me from having a candy bar earlier :D.
