Happy day with my dad today. We hit a local antique fair and wandered for awhile enjoying each other's company while we looked at all the neat things for sale. I bought him a custom sign that we were able to put together ourselves, which he loved :) I think the act of compiling the components was as much fun as the finished product!

It was good for both of us to get out and walk, although I seem to have a strained muscle. We cut the fair short and went to a restaurant for lunch where I indulged in a few steak fries AND a croissant sandwich. I even drank lemonade with sugar! Horrors, LOL! I still came in under my RDI for the day and was even able to sneak a few M&M's leaving me 10 calories to spare. My net calories ended up a little off (I shoot for 500 a day and only got to 475 today). I even walked the dog, but that leg muscle hurt.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day. I'm glad that the food choices I'm making are creating a lifestyle that lets me eat in a restaurant on a whim without blowing my whole day (or weekend) to heck and back. I feel positive, which is a good thing!
