Right now I need to hire some people to fix up my house. I had a handy man but then I got embarrassed that all he was doing was moving things back to where he had moved them out of, just because I changed my mind. But that is silly, I needed to move stuff from here to there and back to paint and clean, so not all the items are randomly moving.
Now the amount of work has built up. It can get to be too much.
Getting some lunch now, will go to the gym after that, then back to work and cleaning out my car also. Lots of place will take items, I live in an urban area with drop off donation boxes every where.
Separately: what do you think of the Game of Thrones books? Are they worth reading? I have a copy of the 3 books.
Happy Squint Day - squinting at the weekend, that is!

The first book is a good read. Compelling story, complex characters, and reasonably well-edited. The second is almost as good. The third and subsequent ones get really gruesome and feel more like you're reading some guy's violent fetish fantasies than good storytelling. They're... disturbing, which I admit can be a great tactic to get a message across, but the problem with the last few GOT is that the brutality gets very gratuitous and doesn't further the plot or have any relevance to character development. By the time I finished the 5th one, I decided I won't be reading anymore of them.

They are worth reading. He does seem to head a little off into the weeds in the last published book.

Yes, work around the house is a major pain..... been doing it forever it seems !!! What is bad about all....we finally get the house the way we've always pictured---then we either want to change it again, or sell to someone else. Just plain Ridiculous !!!! I here ya, a nightmare to deal with.... God Bless ya !!!! Try not to let it become to much of a distraction if you can help it....
