Got on the scale this morning and weighed 1.5lbs heavier and I am totally good with it!
This journey has been overwhelmingly positive so far and I am almost 20lbs lighter in less than 2 months. I am eating many of the same things that I did when I was not consciously trying to lose weight but now I focus on calorie intake and making this a lifestyle for the rest of my life.
I will be 56 this July and I am far too young to be an invalid due to poor dietary choices and a body decimated by my own hands.
That isn't fair to my wife, children or my grandchild and it as I see it, I am being extremely selfish to those I love and myself.

I pledge to actually love myself instead of giving myself lip service and invest in my future!
Let's do this!
