Made my lunch today to bring to work, didn't have any interest in the smoothie but I had the fixings in a bowl instead: fruits and nuts. Nice.
I packed my lunch with the idea that I wasn't really in the mood at 8 am for a tuna sandwich, but by noon I will be ready to eat anything!
Forgot my fitbit, but that is ok. Probably out dancing tonight like last night so I will wear it then.
Right now I weigh what my grandmother weighed when she was my age. She had developed diabetes in her 50's though, which I have not, so that's good. I am the spitting image of her so I think of my health in terms of hers. She passed away at 68, from a stroke.
Talked with the accident victim, and we decided that we are not going to rush into her getting another car right away, if at all. It costs $400 a month for her to have a car, so maybe between taxis, uber, lyft, her boyfriend, and the subway system, she can get around. She lives downtown so really has no excuse to have a car. Turns out that her dislocated elbow means she can't use her left arm anyway for at least 6 weeks. So I might be able to avoid her having another car.
I will weigh in tomorrow - gotta bump up the water!
