I stopped doing my routine before the holidays and packed 10 pounds on. Now that we're going into 2nd quarter, I thought I'd better get serious. So I hired a Self Mastery Coach to help me. Frankly, I am in a place where its easy for me to have zero accountability. I live alone and own my own business so there's no one I'm accountable too but myself, and no one really to encourage me when I am doing well, or call me out when I slip.
So I hired me some accountability. I report to my coach daily on my exercise and nutrition. She's also working with me on a sub conscious level using affirmations and visualization exercises about the life I love (meaning envisioning the life I want to have). Here's what I repeated while on the elliptical machine this morning, over and over "I am a fit, healthy, strong woman. I deserve abundance and I accept it now".

I gained a pound over the weekend. I am not surprised. After we did the Sugar Busters consuming only protein shakes and protein bars with a single serving of vegie and fruit a day, going to solid foods I would expect something like this.
This was a very social weekend revolving around food. Home made Indian vegetarian at one friends house, and "Bo Saam Miracle" (pork shoulder roasted for 8 hours) at another friends home. Plus I made Japanese at home Sunday night. It's time to get back to serious discipline again!!!

Last Day of Sugar Detox using USANA. 'Gotta say it was pretty easy. I ordered more of the protein mix because for some reason it is more filling than other protein mixes I have used. But I think it's because the portion per shake is 260 calories in pre measured individual packets. Seems more like two scoops as opposed to just the one scoop other mixes say to use.
For the Month of September I was juicing a lot, which takes a lot of time. I am sure it's probably better for you, but this protein mix was so quick and easy. I am going to stick with it longer. I only lost 3 pounds this week, but heck...if I did that every week for a while it would certainly add up.
Also took my first Martial Arts Class this week. Yep...my big toe is throbbing today (note to self. Do NOT kick the bag head on). White Belt here I come!

Although I just saw a coupon for Popeye's Fried Chicken (one of my favorite things in THE WORLD) right here on Fat Secret...I chose to believe it is NOT an evil ploy to derail us from our mission. I think it's like the Buddha sitting under the Bodhi Tee being tempted by Demons...he had such control that he changed each threat into something beautiful.
DARN you Demonic Coupons!!! I shun you!!!

We completed the first 3 days of our Sugar Busters Challenge (with my business group locally. 11 of us are doing it together). We are using the USANA "Reset" kit which has three protein shakes, two snack bars, and two packets of nutritional supplement vitamins that you take a day along with one serving of fruit and one serving of vegetable. It is really easy to follow. The hardest part is making sure you eat and drink everything. So Monday I weighted in at 232.4 and today at 229.4 so 3 pounds in three days. I have not, however, done my daily exercising and am the lowest loser in the group. The people who have been diligent about physical activity are reporting better results. Does cleaning the house last night count?
