Still moving. Committed to honesty so I couldn't claim the 251.6 as I round up on my digital scale. Really wanted to post 20 gone but will save it until next week. Red wine and pizza with a group of really fun people was the welcome culprit. Losing weight, not losing people or the fun things we do on this ride. The 240's are approaching like the sunrise. Good morning everyone!

Minus one. Whew! Felt like it was headed north after the weekend of eating whatever. A belated Happy Mother's Day to all who are, or are going to be. In Chicago, my southside friends would say about my diet performance this week, "fuhgeddaboudit". OK. Done. See you next week. Now, get in a Simon/Garfunkel state of mind and sing along, "Hello Fast Day, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again. . . "

Feeling good and I'm sleeping better; a welcome benefit. Fifteen gone in 3 weeks. I find that rich foods do bug me a little on the "five". Still adjusting to find the right mix. Will try some new recipes and maybe limit rich, deeply seasoned food like the chicken chili from yesterday. Delicious but not worth the rumblies it caused. I look forward to salad, even on the eating days. Did I type that? Somebody mentioned a bleu cheese wedge salad yesterday and a craving started . . .

Five more gone and 11 total in 2 weeks. Feels good. I can keep this going even if it slows down; which I know it will. This week's lesson is about pizza and beer. P&B nights are like tornadoes back in OKlahoma. You don't always get a lot of notice before one is right on top of you. So, my new wisdom is this: If the clouds are building in the morning, maybe forgo the Hoss Cartwright breakfast. See you next Monday.
