Coming down with a cold or something. Feel blah. Guess I won't be going to the gym today. :( My appetite is crazy, too. I've eaten 90% of my calories and it's only 5:30 pm. Time to drink five gallons of water and forget about eating.

These last two days I've been eating off the charts. Gained almost a half pound even though I've been doing some form of sustained exercise for an hour every day this past week. I could feel/see I hadn't lost this past week, but it was disappointing to see I'd actually gained.
I get lazy at the end of the day and slack off on logging my food. At night I want that comfort thing and I eat. I don't reach for unhealthy snacks, just more of the same of my simple diet, but a calorie is a calorie after all.
I've done this before where I've gotten slack about logging my calories at the end of the day and wound up not losing. But this week for the FIRST time I actually gained. A good warning. So, I can't tell myself that exercise will gobble up those 200 extra calories every night. Now I see why I can't eat my exercise calories.
Wow. I had no idea how easy it is to gain with just a few days of extra calories.
I wonder if it's a water-weight gain from doing all that exercise. Hmmm...

Rode my bike for an hour. Yeah! Not a huge burn, but it's an hour's exercise like I'm going for every day. Going to make a pledge to go to the gym every day next week and walk an hour on the days I do weights. Must get fit.

Another hour on the elliptical and walked an hour last night. It's getting easier. The trick is to keep at it. And to balance protein, fat, and carbs. If I don't do that, I never feel satisfied. Time to grab another jar of water.
