Weigh in went well. Lost 6 pounds last month. Celebratory lunch: English muffin with avocado, tomato and feta. Olives and pickles. Grapes for desert. Yum.

Very good week. Very good weigh in at bariatric clinic...,down 6 pounds last month. Hubby just found out yesterday that he has diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. He is 55, and we have been married 3 years. I am trying to encourage him to join this part of my journey. He is my world. He is my reason why.

Losing 0.8 kg a Week

Have not missed a day with squats or step ups. Weight loss this week a little discouraging. Have personally challenged myself to only water x 4 weeks (I relied on lots of fruit juices before), and no butter on bread or toast. Uniforms continue to get bigger. Life is great. I was 11 pounds lighter in photo below. Gotta keep going.

Losing 0.4 kg a Week

The first few days of challenge were rough, due to sore legs, buttocks and working 12 hour shifts. On work days I'll run to stairwell to fit in squats and step ups. But there is immediate payoff. I've always been stocky in the legs, and now my uniform legs are becoming baggy. Co-workers have noticed the results within just 9 days of getting on track again. I have not "cheated" once (I hate the term cheat). Co workers are very supportive.
My husband is supportive is researching recipes, and cooking nutritious meals in front of me. He is not supportive in terms of eating tempting foods in front of me. His 19 year old niece is living with us for 2 years (to go to school), and she has lots of tasty treats her that I can not eat. But as Bill points out, why should they have to diet just because I do. He is right.
Back to challenges...i love this challenge because it doesn't just focus on weight loss but overall fitness. I have also added my own personal challenges for the month:
1. No fluids but water for a month
2. Reduce bread intake
3. When I have bread...no margarine or butter for the MONTH
I watch one weight loss show per day on YouTube. I also read literature on very low calorie diets. I'm back on track with my full dose of Ozempic weekly.
Life is great 😎 the image below left: 275. Below right 175 (I'm now 158.2). 13.2 till first goal but hoping to reach 136.
