I started this new account to get away from my old account where every couple of months or so I say: Oops! I am starting over (again)
Hopefully, This will be the one and only time I have to say Oops! I am starting over (again) on this account because I am starting over (again)
*~*~* June 1, 2022 (tomorrow) *~*~*
I pledge to log everything I eat, increase my water intake, make healthy choices when it comes to eating food and be kind to myself every step of the way. Speaking of steps... I pledge to get more of those logged too, as soon as my back stops hurting enough for me to exercise again.
Why? Because my back is hurting every time I stand, walk, and now even as I sit here typing this. I told myself if my weight got to the point where it was hurting - I would do something about it... here I am... hurting and doing something about it by making a pledge to my journal and to everyone who happens to read this in our FS community.
My weight today is 187lbs
My crimes are:
-mindlessly overeating
-being aware the food I am ingesting isn't good for me but eating it anyway
-having a love affair with sugar and wheat flour
-fat-shaming myself a few times
-going on an obsessive hunt for hard to find french cruller donuts binge for a few weeks
-getting to the bottom of too many to count 1.5 quarts of Kemps Moosetracks ice cream containers

Apparently, staring really hard in the mirror at your stomach fat and wishing it to go away does not make it magically disappear. I tried.

Gaining 1.5 kg a Week

Just stopping by quick to say... I blew my diet Wed-Sun & I am back at it again today. I gained 8 of the 10lbs I lost back and now I am determined to lose those 8lbs again and more!!! Only 6 more days until I am on the plane to paradise.

I guess I ate 6 forbidden chocolates in the middle of the night again - I guess I asked my husband for chocolate and he hooked me up but then this time he stopped me and told me no after 6 and said he didn't want to get blamed for me ruining my diet. I probably got mad at him and went back to sleep.
Before I left for work I found half a bag of chocolate-covered cashews on the kitchen counter. I ate them all.
This is not a big deal. I can manage. It's just what happens when I put myself on a strict calorie reduction diet - my body will find ways to feed itself in the middle of the night and when I am distracted.
