Newly married, new mom, student of the arts, enjoys reading the Nook, family oriented, loves meeting new people.

I have done Atkins previously when I was in 7th and 8th grade. My mom swears I got to a size 0 from a 13 but I think I was down to a 5. I was successful then and I am hoping to make the same success again. I was pretty athletic the first go around and have now become not active in the workout realm since graduating high school.

I hope that my husband will embrace the Atkins lifestyle. He is going to eat that way when he is with me whether he likes it or not.

What made you decide to start this? EASY! I got my blood work back from my post-pregnancy, and the numbers showed that I am pre-diabetic. I do not want to follow the same footsteps as my grandmother and my father. I want to steer clear of diabetes all together, if possible.
