Hello all,
I'm from Montréal, Québec. As far as I can remember I was always a nice full of joy person. At 12 years old, I was 120lbs and became senior at figure skating at 14 years old. My mom put me in gymnast, ballet and basketball. I was riding my bicycle each year from May to September each year, from 15 to 22 years old. I always felt healthy and my doctors always wanted me to loose weight, but it never worked, except for a crazy protein diet that I did at 22 years old at that moment I was 251 lbs and i lost 74 pounds in 6 months, and finish at the hospital, with a major general infection, kidney and liver stones, and convulsions, I almost died as per the doctors. So i immediately stopped, results, 4 months later all the weight came back. So 23 years old and 255lbs, I had a child at 25 years old, and for 7 years i stayed at about 255lbs. In 2006 i went to live in Spain, for 2 years. Walking everyday for work and pleasure (between 4 to 10 km a day) and lost 45lbs. Came back to Quebec, and since then I gained 110lbs, for a total of 320lbs in April 2022, then i started to be conscious that at 49 years old, your body feels the weight. So I lost in a little more than a year 22lbs. I love to travel, and taste the different culture's food. So since August 16th, my husband throw a challenge to me : 800 cal until the end of the month - results lost 13 lbs and an incredible knowledge of the calories and how to balance your food. Next challenge 1000 cal for 2 weeks, 1200 for 2 next weeks, and finally 1500 cal for the next month, and in November a cruise :). It will be there my biggest challenge to see if I can put my knowledge and courage to eat as healthy and minimize the temptations.
