I am a 47 yo male who has had a weight problem for most of his life. I have successfully lost significant weight a couple of times, but regained it eventually. I have come to the conclusion that I will need to monitor my caloric intake and output much like a checkbook balance if I am to maintain an appropriate weight. And that is ok. I am currently doing Optifast and it has been very successful.
