i get up hrs. earlier than everyone in my house.i usually make coffee ,drink a cup(first cup is the BEST taste ever),sometimes fix myself breakfast(eggs,meat,veggies,fruit).then i want to workout but my machine makes some noise.so i wait to do it whn everyone is awake.
i decided that it is time for some strength training(think thats wht it is called)did a bunch of research on everybodies advice and came up with my own plan.went to walmart this morning and got a mat and resistance band.went into room alone,turned on the computer and went to youtube.for day #1 i used sparkpeople resistance band upper and lower workouts.and somebody elses resistance band abs workout.
i like sparkspeople cuz the lady goes slowly,thank goodness.i found out that i cant do the sit down workout cus i am too short.i am sure in time i will improve but i am sure glad nobody saw me today.dont really feel like i got anything out of it becuz i really didnt put much into it.alot of the time i was still trying to figure out wht to do with the band while the instructor was 2 steps ahead.oops!
i liked the feel of the resistance and i am sure once i master all the rutines it will feel like i did something.still cant wait til i can get on my gazelle with my hand weights for an hr.
went to the beach yesterday for the first time this summer.took my daughter,her hubby and 3 yr old granddaughter.we had fun for the short time we were there.water was too cold for my liking.a lot of woman were a tankini like me.my daughter had to take in my skirt(i hate sewing) so it wouldnt fall off in the lake,no body wants to see
that.i bought the skirt last winter whn it fit.
ok ,i dont know why i have been rambling.longest journal ever.oh one more thing.my daughter is new on fs and could use some buddies.i think her id is sarahmommy then some number.she is in my buddies.the dark short dark haired girl holding a little readheads hand.

good for you for getting the resistance bands abnd trying sonething new and even more for wanting to try something new. You really are inspiring me! Its a shame you don't have a spare room to put your machine that the others won't here you. So proud of you for doing all this exercise, putting all this effort in to it, and looking for new things. Hope you are proud of you too. And don't apologize for long journsls, I do it all the time. If someone doesn't want to read it, they leave, so talk away, I love it !!!!!

I love your long journal! I think it is GREAT! Have you seen MY journal? He-he-he-he! Your custom made workout is fine & dandy -- whatever suits you. Don't be intimidated by the people on the exercise video - okay? I used to feel bad because they were so out of my league but remember they can't see us through the screen or anything.

You and I weigh exactly the same! Woo hoo! Let's keep going -- okay? You are a cool buddy! We had a dachshund named "Rocky." He broke his back very badly while running up and down the fence to chase a huge lab. Eventually we had to put him down so now he is in doggie heaven! He was named after Rocky the fighter!

sorry about ur doggie.my nickname actuall came from this mentally challenged friend of our 30 yrs. ago that used to rock his body forward and back.i dont remember ever doing that myself but my hubby seems to think i did and i have been rocky ever since.in later years i was introduced as robin.
