Hey Emily, maybe you could give me an advice...I am on the keto diet for almost 2 weeks and I actually put weight...Usually I eat - breakfast: 2 slices of bacon + 2 sausages + 1 tomato / Snack: 70g brie cheese / Lunch: 150g Minced beef + 140g broccoli / Snack: 30g brazil nuts / before the gym: tuna + 1 tbs mayonnaise / dinner: lettuce / tomato / cheese and minced beef ...it usually around 2200 kcal per day...am I doing something wrong? All dishes I use butter to fry etc... Many thanks for your help in advance!

I need help too! I have given up everything bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, sweets other than Keto approved and have not lost weight.

i love sriacha! it does have quite a bit of sugar in it though 😕

Mandarella21 - Sriracha does have sugar in it. I don't use it often but it is my favorite hot sauce. I only use a sprinkle of it on occasion. NikkiBL & Barbflu - Honestly, I'm not a keto expert. I have been eating this way for close to a year and I still have so many questions myself. I've stalled and gained, then lost. It's been a process and I'm still learning. It honestly sounds like you guys are doing the right thing and the best advice I can give you is trust the process. keep going. Keep researching. I watch a lot of what other people eat in a day on Youtube. It's where I get a lot of my own recipe ideas. I'm just reading and living the lifestyle. One thing that people do mention a lot is make sure you to calculate your macros and carbs and protein is not about reaching those goals for the day (being under is OK) but making sure you reach your fat goals. Drink a lot of water. Look for hidden carbs in things. (Like i'm contradicting myself eating Sriracha cause I know there's sugar in there) but look out for hidden sugars. I wish I could be more helpful.. but I'm still learning.

I read the fat flush diet books. Anything that is hot/spicy helps with weight loss. It makes the body burn fat. Cayenne, paprika, pepper flakes, etc

Mandarella21- oh no! I didn’t take it the wrong way. But yes, it’s hard to get rid of my Sriracha. I love it on everything!!! And yes... I’m an 80s baby!

According to the Fat Flush Diet adding spices to foods is a fat burner. I like the flavor it adds too.
