I need to get in the habit of hitting golf balls after work - I just can never seem to find the time. Hopefully in a month when things open up a little I can try to be more consistent.
Then maybe I won't octuple bogey all the holes :P

sj ... you to avoid those octuples ... just cap your strokes at "double-par" ... take your lumps and move on. seems easier that way. taking a snow man is my max ... luckily, there are less triple and quad bogey's each year ... must be doing something right.
i just go whenever i get the chance ... good way to burn some calories, improves my game and i love it. use to play racquetball, but my elbow got a bit tore up ... golf is sooo tough to be good at ... and i like that challenge. plus, getting older, so ... gotta play what most consider an "old man's game" ... ;)

Well - octuples is a guess. I only record my score when it's below 8... :P I think my best score on a hole is actually 2 over, but I'm terribly inconsistent - so I need to get out there and practice practice practice. I started playing so I could spend more time with my dad, and then he up and moved to California (the nerve). And whenever I'm visiting him or he's visiting me I ramp up how much I'm playing, but I should probably just do it more frequently all year so I'm not playing catch-up as much in the weeks before the visit.
