It's now just 17 days until my first 10K cross country race and the training is going very well - Yesterday I ran my second training 10k (around a flat but very windy reservoir) in an hour and 30S. Unfortunately I have no chance of a similar time in the race as it is very hilly. Today is a rest day ahead of a long walk on Thursday. On Friday we are off to a cheap half board mini break in Eastbourne for a few days so there are many opportunities for me to break a few diet protocols. Mindful of my mid month blips I hope to offset the additional intakes, that are mandatory on holidays, with lots of walking and a bit of running.
I have struggled not to weigh myself and so have given in to that for the moment.
Have a great Wednesday all of you
