Well, this is the first day of the Dr Oz grapefruit detox.

I must admit, i was a bit hungry between meals, but it passed rapidly.

The interesting thing about it is the energy I felt and so clear headed! I feel better than I have in a long time. And my aches and pains weren't around. Because I've felt really unhealthy for the last months. I've blamed my weight gain, but maybe it has to do with certain foods.

That's the tough part, figuring out what is good for your own body.

Even young, I've always felt sluggish. Today I felt on my game!

It's odd though, I felt that something is missing. Although I wasn't hungry, I didn't feel the fullness i usually do. And that was foreign to me.

I've not had the third meal yet, and unfortunately I don't have the required ingredients to stick to the plan 100% for this last meal, so I'm improvising.

I'm just wondering how I'll cope when the stress eating kicks in. In my job, when I feel stressed, I walk around the house, and grab a fruit, or something quick. It's a pacifier...and I need it! It has nothing to do with hunger. Don't know what I'll do with that...

We shall see, but I plan to give it a real try.

here's the plan:

B: 1/2 grapefruit
4 oz protein )the example was 2 strips bacon and 2 eggs

L: 1 healthy fat and unlimited vegetables

S: 1 c ancient grains + vegetables and 4 oz protein.

No snacks were mentioned.

we shall see. I'm anxious for 2morrow's weigh in!

Perhaps instead of pacing around the house (and thru the kitchen) you could walk outside, where there are no kitchens. Leave your wallet at home, and breathe in some fresh air. Exercise helps alleviate stress.
