Hmmmmm.....second day of Atkins....not thinking I can do this for as long as I thought....maybe ww instead??

It's tough, but give it a chance - once you get into 'fat burning' mode and you've 'decarbed' yourself, you'll see the losses and it'll be worth suffering through coming off the carbs. Atkins.com has a community of its own and you can get tons of support there as well. Best of luck and keep on keepin' on :)

It gets much easier after the first few days. Once your body detoxes from all the carbs and sugar,the cravings go away and your appetite decreases. Good luck whatever you decide!

Ditto the first comments! It takes a couple of days but if you drink you water and eat when you're hungry, as long as you eat on plan foods you'll start seeing the weight drop off, start feeling more energetic, tons of other good things from going low carb. Give it a bit of time and keep up on here. You can do it!

It's only my first day but I am glad to be weaning myself off so much sugar and carbs. I was on WW, and tho it did work, I feel like it did not help me stay away from these bad foods. In fact, I would find ways to fit in that candy bar, even if it meant cutting out healthy foods. I encourage you to embark on this journey of eating the Atkins way and being healthy. Good luck!
