Good Morning Everyone! Today is Veterans day, a national holiday here that commemorates the day that World War One hostilities ceased on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. Although created to celebrate the end of the war to end all wars, it later was changed to honor all veterans who have served in our military through peacetime and war. Interestingly enough, there will be a time today where it is the 11th second, of the 11th minute, of the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month of a year that ends in 11, that you will never see again. Hug a veteran today!
What has this to do with FS? Only that I am going to enjoy a fabulous Veterans Day dinner at the American Legion tomorrow, that always consists of Roast Beef, Mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans, and one of my local favorites - Cherry Coke Salad!
Yep, I ran this morning. Still holding at 223.5! Good start to a great day!
