Day 8...thoroughly enjoying my time in San Diego. Had dinner last night with my littlest bro... all three siblings together for the first time in a long time. A precious time for this big sis! And they laid out quite a spread but I did well; made good choices. Had to estimate on my portion sizes in my food diary, but still think I came pretty close. And they knew I was doing low carb and went out of their way to have options for me. God bless them!!! Sis-in law introduced me to a new delicacy: Trader Joe's Blue Cheese Roasted Pecan Dip....I ate it with carrot sticks while the gang used tortilla chips. Holy moly, so delish. Gonna buy some as soon as I get home. :) Going a little crazy not being able to weigh myself, but I know I'm a little obsessive about it anyway so this is good for me. Will be interesting to weigh in tomorrow morning at home and see how I've done this weekend. Off to a craft fair with the Sis-in law and nieces..... have a great day all!

Sounds like so much fun! I am an only child so have always been jealous of people with siblings. AND blue cheese is my favorite, will have to try the dip. Need something with my pork rinds!

Oh, I was going to say sometimes I take a couple of low carb tortillas and fry them up to make chips. I take them with me to our Mexican restaurant to use with the guac and cheese dip....

Hi Laura! Well, that Pecan Dip will go on my Trader Joe's list. That sounds good. I make a pretty mean avocado dip, but not sure if it is good for the diet since the main ingredient is creme cheese, and is laced with a lots of Lawry's Seasoning Salt. It is luscious. So avocados+creme chesse+Lawry's Seasoning+ Lemon juice+ anything else you want to throw in. lol
