Another gorgeous day with morning temps in the 60's again. Great for walking. Both doggies along for a 2.4-mile walk and then 1 continued along for the final .7 to make it 3.1 miles for both him and me. It was a mere 71 degrees when we finished up.
No outdoor chores today as I was at the thrift store for the afternoon. Good thing I wasn't doing any manual labor as the labor from yesterday is still making its presence known in my various muscles. I might need to do some serious stretching before I attmpt anything tomorrow.
We have a backyard BBQ to attend on Saturday. Sounds like it will be heavy on the meat, which will be a good thing as long as it's not already full of sauce. I'm calling the hosts tomorrow to see about bringing something and I'm sure I can get a few more details about the menu. Once I get some details, I'll know how to prepare/plan for the event.
Tomorrow kicks off the NFL regular season (Go Pack!!). I've already planned out a few Atkins-friendly snacks to have during the game. Nothing huge, but just a few things to make it seem a bit special.
