Hit my 100-mile season goal on my 18th ski! It was a glorious day -- 6 inches of new snow, cold enough for some great glide on freshly waxed skis. Started off making turns in powder a few runs, hiking back up each time. Amazing feeling

Did break the tip and basket off one pole, but fortunately while I was on my way out, and it was survivable. So tired. We were out 3.5 hours, covered nearly 6 miles, and had some gasser climbs in there.

Sounds like you are doing great with the skiing!

Thanks, Morticia! We're definitely nearing the end of the season, so I may not hit the 20 trips, but at least I got the 100 miles under my belt

I'm living vicariously through you!

Thanks, shirfleur! The conditions were so, so good. A nice change of pace from our last two sticky slogs

Diana -- Thanks! But you might not want to live vicariously through me on the days we're shoveling snow. That had to serve as my workout yesterday. 😂 The pattern is usually you shovel one day, ski the next. We have a corner lot, so there is a ton of sidewalk to clear at our house

Thanks, OTB! Thing is, to me, skiing isn't work. It's just joy 😊 Picking up a hand weight on an off day, however...THAT is work, and I'm notoriously lazy 🤣
