So much personality in your funny chickens! I love them! 😂 

Your hens look like sweethearts! 

I don’t t eat eggs often ( but a few recent posts may think I am a liar lol ) but something about a backyard full of chickens could be a life goal. Now I just need to find a place to have a bunch and give all the eggs to friends, family and neighbors. They are beauties ! 

I have chickens, too!!! 😍 My youngest grandbaby won't eat store bought eggs anymore. It's Gigi's eggs or none! Thankfully, my ladies are starting to lay again. We got about 1-3 eggs per week all winter, out of a flock of 12.

@Gigi, did you give them plenty of protein? Ours had slowed so we started giving them mealworms daily. They started laying better the next week. 

About six months ago I bought a dozen eggs at ny local Mediterranean market and every single one was a double yolk. What a surprise 

I have chicken I love how they come up to me I can hold them and I get lots of eggs that taste great! 🤠 

Thank you all for the kind comments. The Black Star chickens are the first chickens, that we raised from babies. We didn't hatch them, but they were so small, that they looked like little black pompoms and fitted in one hand. That was just last September and now they're big girls. We are now getting lots of eggs.

I just adore chickies! They are so sweet and funny! Mine come running up to the fence when I pull in.... they know I have treats for them. I'm a well trained chicken tender!! 😋
