It was a "good" day to play golf. A friend and I decided to play Monday 11:00 AM. It was cloudy, in the mid 40s with the expectations to go to the 50s, and also overcast with a little wind. My wife said we were "nuts to play in this type of weather". I told my friend she said "idiots", or at least that's the way I remembered her saying it. But I was prepared with my microfiber long johns and the upper layers. The sun was supposed to come out, so I was confident the day would be great. Uh, maybe not idealic, but we had a good time. The wind picked up, the sun never really came out, and I was somewhat comfortable though the temperature never got to the 50s. But, my ungloved right hand was cold to the extent that I lost the necessary feeling between my right hand and the golf club grip. Temps below 50 tend to make that happen. Still, the score was a decent 79 considering the weather. That was my first round of the year, and certainly a success.

The good from all of this is that the weight continues to drop from the holiday feastings to 202.4 this A.M. It was "only" 2/10s of a pound, but every little bit of dropped weight certainly provides motivation and success.

And now, it is time to head for the bike and put in about 22 miles.

Hope all that are being affected by snow storm Finn are bundled, warm, and safe.
Everyone keep focusing, keep exercising, and keep losing / maintaining the weight. God is good !!
