WindyD, that was the most frugal choice and so I made it work. Growing up, my happiest memories were always in homes that were not very 'pretty' in the classic sense. I admire that look, don't get me wrong! It just doesn't equal 'love' to me. I lean toward the lived-in look every time.💙

Unity, you have the same ideals/tastes as I. I raised 5 kids, and every house we lived in was filled with love and laundry, lol. Frugal is how we made it, and how I live to this day. We know how to stretch a dollar, and these days with inflation that skill will come in handier than ever for us!
