You taking a little break? I know I’m hit or miss lately but I like your food pics.

Yes Kat. Unfortunately I‘m dealing with my mom who‘s having issues in Senior Living and dealing with my MIL‘s window & siding project both in NJ. Not too much fun but I guess after 7 1/2 of retirement a little stress is OK. Might need to up mom‘s care but am planning to stay till February to make sure we make the right decision. Our Healthcare system is full of blood-sucking leeches IMHO so need to advocate for the ones you care about. Probably won‘t be around much until February but I‘m ok despite missing the steelhead season, my home, cooking, wine … blah blah…… Right not I’m entering data from my mom’s glucometer so I can figure out what the "F“ is going on & what is normal. Anyway thanks for caring and letting me offload. I‘m not a public person but I‘ve been s bit overwhelmed lately. Hope you and all the FS ers are meeting goals & enjoying life. I‘ll gez through it no worries ad many have it much worse than I. Thanks agsin and if I could give you a big hug.. I would. So virtual hugs it is … 🤗🤗🤗

Lots of typos I know 😂😂😂

FWIW, we’re using an Apple Watch to track the daily movements and data of BF’s brother with dementia, stroke, prone to falls and macular degeneration all at once. The watch is allowing the closest sibling to know about events, such as falls, as soon as they happen. There’s also a lot of less obvious features that will report back into health that you could use to monitor daily vitals with all of the smart monitoring they have. Just food for thought.

Thanks for the idea Kat 👍👍 Trying to get her to get a CGM but she‘s refusing. Wearables would definitely help.

I don’t know if this will work, but the watch being a phone was the seller. More so than the other stuff. “If you need something, just tell Siri to call me.” If he falls, Siri just calls.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. Even though I can't offer support physically, I wanted you to know I'm here. Sending virtual hugs, and I hope better days are ahead for you. 🤗🤗🤗"

So sorry for your mom's declining health issues, I agree about the abysmal health care systems here. Sounds like Kat has some good information. It is so difficult to see our loved ones going through declining health. (((HUGS))). BTW, I love Red Thai Curry, yours looks delicious.
