Ok not too upset with this. Thanksgiving pushed me back to starting point. Hopefully it’ll drop off easy.

I don't know about your Thanksgiving dinner, but mine must have contained a lot of sodium. It was an extended family effort, so I don't know how much salt was in everything, but the 1 lb weight gain, while staing within my caloric range, came back off the week after. You may do the same.

I hope you’re right but I know the whole week after I was not eating well. I was having pie for breakfast and snacking on chips. Not to mention the meals I ate just to be social. I did get at least 2 workouts in. I’m happy it want more. Last year thanksgiving started my upward spiral.

I gained a couple pounds but after a week in a small deficit, I was back to normal maintenance weight. You got this! Xmas food coming soon!! 😳 Lol

My experience since I've cleaned up my diet is that when I eat like my family and friends, I crave what they consume even more. Lets just call it the American Standard Diet. For example when my mother-in-law visits for a week and brings home doughnuts, cookies, chips, and icecream, some of my trigger foods that I don't buy unless my family requests it, and then I only buy enough so that only they enjoy it and I don't have to see and smell it for days on end in case I have a weak moment. Because once I start to eat treats like that, it's becomes even harder for me to ignore it, and then I'm back to fasting /cleansing to stop the cycle of cravings and binging.

@storm unfortunately I only lost less than half a pound now a week after Thanksgiving vacation. I was hoping to change my goal lower but these 2 pounds seem to be hanging on and mentally more challenging than before.
