Am now back below my pre-Thanksgiving week weight. In looking at my exercise stats since beginning this journey according to Fitbit and my bike, I've walked 23,288,348 steps and 16,043 miles on the bike. I am thankful for the ability to have gone that far considering the 2 knee injuries & subsequent operations that were sustained in a couple of falls that were frankly avoidable, but due to me not paying attention to the situation I was in. History is just that, history. Not complaining. It happened and am happy my knees work as well as they do. My next short term goal is to be at 195 by 12/22/23 since that is the day family will arrive for the 5-day Christmas festivities & family fun. For me that is an aggressive goal (essentially 7 pounds in 3 weeks). All of us know that family get-togethers for several days can bring great food and extra pounds. The golf season is essentially over, so there will be more miles on the bike. Hope that everyone is looking forward to the Christmas season & end of the year. Everyone keeping focusing on your goals, keep exercising, and keep losing / maintaining your weight. God is good !!
