Fresh tiger striped figs, with one green fig, steel cut oats, some collagen protein powder I always make my steel cuts with flax seeds and Chia seeds for added fiber. 2 tablespoons of mixed nuts finally got my walking boot off! Ready to hit the trails!

I haven't ever got to eat a fresh fig do you eat the whole thing or do you just eat the inside bit there in the middle? They look 😍 on the plate 🍽️ they certainly look very appetizing. Figs also have a lot of fiber if I'm not mistaken correct? I've enjoyed their taste in baked goods I'm sure they are even better fresh glad you were able to enjoy some. 😊

Yum! I've worn out a few walking boots myself so I know how great it feels to give your boot the boot😄

Leah, I was raised with dried Calmyrna figs only, so my first fresh fig around age 45 was a big surprise! They're so *wet*! But I got used to that, as they're really delicious. I went hiking in Spain in August, and they grow by the roadside, easy to have a little snack.

Yes, figs have lots of fiber I eat the entire thing, including the stem and the skin! So delicious

When they’re perfectly ripe, they’re sweet, but not too sweet. For me the dried figs are a bit too sweet although in a pinch, I will use them. Apparently the calorie count is equivalent to the dried figs, but I feel like you get more with a fresh there less shrunken.
