Morning FS fam! I hope everyone is having a better Monday than me. I'm feeling grumpy and am not sure why...kinda. I think I'm feeling frustrated with my ups and down of my weight. I know I shouldnt feel this way and that the scale shouldnt dictate my mood... but today I'm feeling it.
I've been on a salty potato chip binge all last week and am mad at myself that I'm having self-control issues. GRRRRR!! I need to break a plate or something...

Remembering consistency is more valuable than attempts at perfection. That we all know isn't attainable. It's funny in the last month or 2 I've been eating all of the stuff I shouldn't. All of the sudden I love how I look. It always depends on the day and time of how we think we look or feel. One of the better things I was told and have saw here/there. Is the body/abilities that you're not content with, is someone else's dream body/life/scenario. Here's to a better tomorrow.

i try to get out of the house and away from food when i have those moods. perhaps buy a healthy alternative like kale chips or dried snap peas, or seasalt almonds?
im also in a mood today.... the monday blues are hitting hard. thinking of you, you'll get through it!

It's probably not self control. The food industry creates this food specifically to be addicting, such that it's impossible to have just a little bit and not want more. Try eating more protein and at every meal to feel satiated.

I try to keep busy when I get like that but sometimes I just want to sit on couch and veg. I hope it's better tomorrow 🩷

I agree with trying to find healthier versions for the cravings. But if i do have something less healthy, I count out the chips to around 150 cal or whatever your goal is then put the rest away somewhere not close by and eat them slowly. If I eat mindfully like that instead of in a binge/cravings moment then it usually helps with the cravings and you could follow up with something healthier. I love blue tortilla chips (about 12) dipped in cottage cheese when I'm craving salt or skinny pop helps too.
