It took me until Friday this week for the scale to get back down to where it was on Sunday (my freebie day), and I'm happily a little under where I was Sunday morning (163.4). Makes me think about *not* going all crazy indulging this Sunday and seeing where that would put me next week. I know my progress would be faster without my don't-worry-about-it Sundays, but I tell you, I practically LIVE for Sundays to come...

Besides. I'm not trying to get anywhere by any certain date. No outfit I'm needing to get into for some special event. This is simply a change in how I'm eating for the rest of my life. So, with that in mind, I think I'll keep my Sunday breaks. A day to not worry, to not measure, to not count, to not avoid, etc. etc. etc. It's important to my psyche. :)

4 more pounds until the 150's!!

I think you have a great plan so far...maybe you could compromise and do Free Meal Sunday and stick on plan the rest of the day? You still get to indulge but not backtrack the hard work from the rest of your week.

Yes, HCB, that would be very sensible. I noticed someone else commented in some other thread about "cheat days," and he/she made me go, hmmm. She says she has a "cheat" day, but she makes it a point to only eat until she isn't hungry and not to eat if she isn't hungry at all. Someone else also commented about sticking w/ the plan all day but allowing for one "cheat" meal. I'm still so much in the throws of, "Whoo-hoo! Sunday is here! Feast day! Par-tay!" I'm not ready yet. 9 weeks in to this "forever" plan. Maybe when I'm not still in the baby phase of this, my rational mind will take over and I will start being more "mature" in my Sunday food choices. Maybe. :)

Oops. She made it a point to only eat when she *is* hungry.
