Farmers market haul: salsa, kim chi, local honey & goat pepper jack. Also got a vegetarian bao -- empty calories, I realize, but they're fun. A rare treat. There are worse things I could be eating. Spent too much, but had a good time out in the sun :)

Thanks, Morticia! Had an egg with TVP and some of the kimchi for lunch. Yum! A tasty way to get some probiotics. I've bought from the salsa folks for years, and their stuff is fantastic. Looking forward to the cheese and honey. Didn't get up there early enough for eggs, because I forgot it was going on. I've put a reminder in my calendar for the rest of the season. I'm really fortunate the Saturday market is only a couple of blocks from my house

We love honey. We buy local honey and my husband puts it in his coffee.

I tend to buy ‘fake’ honey at regular supermarket.. arghh 😢 with refined sugar etc. Is there a way to know which honey brand is the raw true honey? Thanks !

MattRide -- honey and olive oil, both, you don't always get what you're paying for. I don't have much good advice on this front. Mostly, I try to buy what look like decent brand names and hope for the best. Even at the farmers market there's a level of trust when they tell you it's real honey from their bees. Since we don't go through a lot of honey, this will last us a while. When I don't have local farmers market honey, I usually buy the Local Hive brand from Sam's Club. I can't swear it's 100% actual honey, but I think it's OK
