my first leap off the right path yesterday. I tried to fit in so much yardwork that I ran out of time so I didnt prep any food to take with me to baseball. I was watching my grandkids while my son played ball. instead of waiting and eating at 8 pm I ate mini coffee crisps aero and mini chips ahoy bear paws and oreo cookies for dinner. I felt sick afterwards so I suppose that was a good result. surprisingly eating all those carbs wasnt satisfying at all. today will be so easy to go back to keto style eating! bring on the healthy fats!

Sounds like that little astray was a right path after all... gave you a renewed appreciation of what you have going for yourself... good call on that.

It’s funny how some consistent healthy habits tend to recalibrate our responses to certain foods and/or beverages. I really like fried chicken, but it just doesn’t hit the satisfaction button same way it used to when I wasn’t following any healthy protocols…

Yes, I just roasted 2 Chicken Thighs, and I know if I do not have a substantial salad to go with it, I will be hungry soon after. Same with the Fish I'll be having for Lunch... will have a large serving of Kale Slaw with that too. was looking at a chocolate bar at the Grocer's checkout, and I felt no compulsion to buy it.

Protein bars are good for "forgot to meal prep" days. Most are either high in sugar or have fake sugar, so they are for emergency use only 😀
