Lat Pulldowns are one of my favorite exercises and it has a great health benefit for me. I had all my lymph nodes removed in my right underarm and that surgery caused cording of my muscle that runs from my armpit down my side and decreased my mobility of that arm. This exercise has totally reversed all my cording. Strength training for me is Physical Therapy.

I love pull downs too! I thought I was pulling a good amount of weight till I saw you pull 120! I pull about 80-85 lbs..Great job Redporchlady!!!

Diana- that is my one rep max - on heavy days he usually has me at 100# and on lots of rep days I am at 80# too.

Regarding my Total Gym--Yes! loved it in my 30's and 40's ... brought it out again today because I need to work on strength and flexibility in my 'old age' 🤣 and this contraption allows me to do almost everything I could do if I was using gym equipment. Onto a stronger more flexible New Year ✨

66Pack - Thanks! I really enjoy this exercise except it is paired up with lunges which I hate! So when I am trying to walk to the lat machine after each of my lunge sets I just enjoy the fact that I get to sit down!
