otb… it was hard when my son was little. I hated being around other parents and never volunteered to help school events. Do you struggle with that too? I am still cripplingly unsociable and the hurricane Ian deployment was an ordeal to me because I was stuck with people. Fitness is helping me a little. I’m looking forward to seeing what it will bring next.

Wifey, the firefighters did most of the work. My experience with firefighters was never pleasant in the past; too much testosterone I guess, but today I was filled with so much respect for them.

Cindy, I would have never even thought of joining the Red Cross if it wasn’t for you. You brought so much into my life (kayaking for example). I can’t thank you enough. I am still hopeful about your future living arrangement. Let’s stay strong together.

Hazel hello, I really didn’t do much, didn’t particularly enjoy being there with the volunteers either🤣 It was cold today🥶 I lost a patient in a fire a few years ago, and since then I’ve been a little more persistent about raising fire safety awareness. I’ve detected a few gas leaks in my patients’ homes too. Stay safe my friend, check your smoke detector today. Happy Hanukkah🕎
