Thank you NAVYWIFE. 💕 The last 2 cakes I have made as been from a baker that has high altitude baking recipes, Curly Girl Kitchen and it's made a huge difference. Next cake in the line up will be a Mexican Chocolate cake for Christmas. I have to play around with recipe, because I will be using a regular chocolate recipe and adding the mexican chocolate. 😋 🎄🤔 

OMG, I miss Broguiere's so much! we used to have it here, but it's been replaced by another so I just skip it. you're so lucky.

Kat, our youngest son brings the chocolate milk and eggnog when he comes for the holidays, so for those times he's my favorite child. 😄😉😋 

NAVYWIFE, I am slowly regaining some confidence in my baking skills. I tried making adjustments myself, but had to make my cakes into parfait a few times. 🙃 

Wifey, both were a treat that should only be enjoyed in small portions. 🥴
