The whole family has been sick! My house is snot from floor to ceiling! All of us have had 101 fevers for a few days plus my 16 month old is getting in 4 teeth!! I escaped and did my new yoga book since my hubby was home today. Yoga is a WONDERFUL thing! I've felt like poop and had 2 kids hanging on me for days and the yoga actually eased my headache! It's not gone but it isn't throbbing anymore!! I'm hate to excerise but I love yoga! You can be totally out of shape and still do yoga!! The book I got is by Liz Lark and it's called YOGA - A FLOW MOTION BOOK. It shows step by step how to do the poses. I turn on some yoga music from the internet and 40 minutes later I feel great! If your not athletic try yoga!

I did finally try out a yoga DVD I had picked up ages ago but it was the wrong one for me. Too basic and the host was really annoying! I agree with you that it's a great way to destress and tone up but it's so important to fit the style that fits your personality. I'm going to look for the one you're doing because you seem so energized by it and that's what I want. My favourite DVD is the old 'Buns of Steel'. Now that is a hardcore butt and thigh workout! I'll start doing it once I've established a routine with the yoga and pilates. Try to look for an old copy on eBay. I think you'd have fun with it. When I say hardcore, I just mean that it really works those areas, it's not hard to follow or overly advanced. And I love the outfits from the 70's and 80's! I hope the babes are feeling better. Snot always bothers the parents more than the kids, it seems!! Take care and keep on keeping on! hee hee

If you're feeling especially down about your workouts, pick up one of the old Richard Simmons tapes from goodwill. There's nothing like busting your buns repeating "they're fatter than me and they can do it! keep going!" hehehe I've been walking a lot lately. There's a lovely bike path that follows a creek right near my apt. It's a little over a mile and very quiet. I always come back from my walk energized and feeling very calm. Hope everyone feels better soon!
