Enjoy the first weekend of Spring everyone!! A beautiful spring Saturday morning!! The forecast says 70 for a high.

No "exercise" yet. Doesn't sound like much but here are my goals for the day. Catch up my dishes, some laundry, and turn over the dirt in one 8 foot by 4 foot raised bed, and do a food plan for the week.

More than I've done physically in a week, I know if I meet these simple goals I will feel better mentally. Improving everyday but not back to normal.

Down to 1/2 a prednisone once a day, started @ 3, and will be on antibiotics for several more days. No real weigh ins until I'm off the prednisone for a week. It always results in a 5-10 pound gain in water retention. No use upsetting myself getting on a scale!!

Being totally lazy this am, 11 hours of sleep, sitting here drinking coffee, catching up on the computer and reading, hoping to get the energy to move, take a shower, and work on my little goals. Body is still in shut down, recovery mode. I need to push it a bit.

Sounds like you plan to have a very productive day - good for you. However, take it easy and pay attention to your body / how you feel so that you do not over do it - since you are still recuperating! Have a great day!

Jenn, I will listen to my body, so far, have taken a shower and gotten dressed, it's 11:30. LOL

Haha....we are two peas in a pod it seems! No shower yet but I am cleaning up the house and catching up on emails. Jealous of the amount of sleep you got though. I couldn't fall asleep at all. Jet lag is killing me!

Smilesong, I'm not good at anything until a shower.... Have had bronchitis and should have stayed home most of the week from work no choice but to try to get through the days. Was in bed by 7:30 totally exhausted last night. At least now a load of laundry is in, the dishes are caught up that I have just let sit mush of the week, too tired to face them. A clean kitchen makes me smile. Still have the dang frig to tackle UGH!!! It will not be pretty!! I'm sure there is green slime in there!! Or fuzzy critters in containers waiting to attack me!

YAY!! Raised bed is turned. Something new to me, in the past it's been my roto tiller in the spring. These raised beds I put in last year are so different! Will need to add some compost tomorrow before I can plant it tomorrow and fence it so crazy pup cannot attack it. She thinks the beds are hers..LOL,,,NO! NO! No!!! Dishes are caught up, the downstairs frig wiped out and turned back on, it's been empty and off for a few months, a few loads of laundry..more to do. 3 kinds of dried beans simmering so they will be cooked for the coming week. I'm exhausted!! Hoping I'm back to normal by Wednesday as I have a 5 day weekend. At least a few things done instead of nothing. I really HATE getting sick.

I'm in soo much trouble, trying to plan meals for the next week. I'm reading 2 books one is Best Ever Curry (the recipes I've tried are amazing!) and How to Cook Everything Vegetarian. Too many recipes sound just incredible! I cannot decide what to cook for the week.
