Happy to be home for a week after spending 4 days in the hospital. The back and knee pain are ever present, but generally not anything that I cannot handle. Pain medications help at night and allow me to sleep, though not for long periods of time. I am having an MRI next week to determine the extent that my knee was injured. An Xray and scan did not show anything of note. The MRI should be more conclusive. I have been eating about 1800 - 2000 calories per day, sometimes less. And, even though I have not exercised in about 5 weeks, I have dropped 12 pounds since 9/12. I am more concerned about the exercise since my body depends on exercise to keep in shape. Hopefully, a short term lay-off of about 2.5 months will not have negative effects on my body. Overall, other than back / hip / knee pain, I feel great. Keep focused, be well, and make your goals.
