It's been 6.5 years since I was working out regularly and monitoring my eating habits. I'm proud to announce that 6 weeks ago I embarked on a self improvement segment of my life pertaining to my health and body image. I was a bit disheartened looking at myself and wondering where that body went and would it ever return. At my age I thought probably not, so why should I even try.
But I woke up on Jan 29th and said my body may not ever be what it used to be, but it can be the best it can be right now. So I took the first step and got on a treadmill.
So I checked my self pity at the door, packed my determination and got off my ass and left "use to be land" for a journey to "better than ever" land.
My mom always said, "Can't never could" and she was so on point. Head up! .. Eyes to the Sky! The future is only as bright as you believe it can be and it starts with you.
