So versatile. Is it a toy or a pillow? It's a tree trunk with holes with little squirrels that he has all but destroyed. Ready for our first walk of the day. Well, I'm ready... not too sure about him.

Thanks, Nikina. He is always into something. I had a meeting with HR and could hear him chewing this morning. I had to excuse myself from the zoom because he had an umbrella. Yesterday was a book. I don't want to put him in a pen all day because I think that's shitty to do to a dog... but even if the house was spotless, I caught him chewing on the little front entrance rug. He finds things. He's lucky he's so dang cute! 😍

You need to get that boy a bone or some kind of chew toy blondie! How old is he? Sounds like puppy age. There’s the really durable ones on Amazon that even my pit bull can’t destroy and he just carries it everywhere with him. Even guards it while he’s sleeping 😂

He has a ton of toys. I got him one for aggressive chewers on Amazon but he ruined it in 3-5 minutes. He has a couple things hard for him to destroy so he's less interested in those. 🤷‍♀️

Vanfine squeaky dog toy! They make the toughest one. It’s the only one my dog can’t destroy. You’re welcome

Thanks, Kat and Superman... He's doing a lot of "mouthing" which I thought was really cute at first but is not so much anymore. :( Any dog tips are appreciated. I need to google some stuff.

My aunt raises labs. I’ll ask her what they like best these days.

In the meantime, a Kong with frozen peanut butter in it is great while he’s alone. My dogs have their own jar so I’m not tempted. Literally wrote DOGS on it so I don’t forget.

Mouthing as in chewing things or talking back? I spray hot sauce or vinegar on anything I don’t want my pups to chew on when they were growing up

Thanks cupcake. Superman, I mean play biting me or anyone actually but it's near constant and not as amusing after this first week. I looked it up and got some good ideas to stop it.

A tired dog is a good dog. Run them, walk them, take them alongside on your bike. I’m also a Toller mom. She’s fourteen and still has more energy than most normal dogs. Don’t discount making the brain tired. Puzzles, hide treats, etc.

Oh rough playing lol idk i like that type of play. But they usually develop that when you play with them rough. But on days where I’m busy and they try to come play I’ll just use a stern voice like “eh!” Or “no!” Or you can spray vinegar on yourself too that’ll work for that too 😂

May try the vinegar. Thanks, Katsolo. It's true. When we took him to the lake it was non stop walks, playing, swimming, and constant snooping around. He could barely wake on day 2. Here at home, nothing wears him out. He takes a little rest and back at it. ❤

Limitless energy and nothing to do. He would probably wash the car and mow the lawn if he could. Just “eating” out of boredom. Glad he had the chance to get worn out!

Haha! I have one of those but my dog doesn't like playing with toys. Go figure.
