Wow, what a weekend! First day at the office this week 'cause yesterday we had a snow day! We don't get them often here in the 'banana belt' as my dad calls it. But yesterday we got a foot of snow. School was closed, so we made the best of the day but baking mini cupcakes for little boy's birthday at school on Thursday. That's his official birth day and my son is turning five! So we're taking cupcakes in for his class. We had a party on Saturday with 10 kids, which was chaos but they were all happy. And then Saturday evening my in laws came over to give my son his presents and have cake. On Sunday, we went to my parents' and celebrated with my family. So my son got lots of loot and we ate lots of cake and other goodies! It also didn't help that Sunday night was Superbowl and we had lots of food in the house leftover to eat and more cake! Oh, well! Back to tracking the food! I didn't weigh in on Friday either as I was off, running around getting all the things for the birthday parties. I wasn't feeling well either as I had a cold. I still have a few last remnants of it, just a cough. I get back on track and weigh in again this Friday. I did get on the treadmill last night for a good workout. But today there will be no workout as I had to run home and meet the plumber. I discovered last night that we didn't have much hot water and this mornign it was even worse. So, I called and they came out at lunch and fixed the problem. Now to see if it will ok as it takes awhile to heat up a tank of water!! Hubby is home now, so he'll figure it out!
