Thanks @otb123 the heat makes it difficult to want to cook and easy to snack which definitely gets me into trouble. Hopefully knowing that will help me bounce out of it. 🙏🏼

Yeah the heat is making my daily walking miserable some days 😕

Been struggling with food choices too with the extreme heat. For now some good choices are going to have to be enough for me. I want to make these changes lifelong so every day isn't going to go as planned. Trying not to be too hard on myself. You've really been dedicated @misChelle_ The heat will break and we'll both do better :)

Losingtowin, thank you so much I appreciate the reminder!! And I totally agree. A few times I've had to just not eat in a deficit but haven't gone over for the most part... I totally did not get my steps in today and only did 50 crunches instead of my typical 100+ 😬🙏🏼💕 sadly we haven't even hit triple digits yet here, but is probably right around the corner 😭

Yesterday was an icky day for me too. I was practically eating like a Great Dane. Woof, woof. Enough of that B.S. LOL.

Can you pinpoint what's going on? I'm doing the same thing and I can't figure out what's happening. I'm just a few ounces away from my first goal and today, I totally sabotaged myself. For me, it might be frustration in my physical limitations. I use a walker and ordered a pedometer that I thought would work. Received it yesterday and it doesn't. But that is what I think is hampering me. Let's talk about why you think you're feeling this way. ❤️ You know we are all hear for each other!

MorticiaAddams 😂😂😂 you are too funny. I'm definitely out of control with what I've been eating. Haven't gone over my daily calories but certainly not in a deficit 😬

My OCD insists that I correct my last comment that we are all *here* for each other! 🤔

BlessedBeyondBelief49, I've been just using Google fit on my phone and put it in a pocket. Is that an option? As far as what may be triggering me.. I think it's a number of things that have added up to a whole mess. My kids were at camp for a week and while they were gone I had a handful of emotional days towards the end of the week where I think I was eating my feelings. Then they got home Saturday and Sunday my oldest woke up really sick. The heat has been really bad. Not triple digits yet but high 90s for week 2 now; making it hard to even walk outside of the gym. Then... Today I woke up feeling like the living dead. Took an at home test n I'm negative thank God. I slept almost all day today. Praying tomorrow I wake up feeling better at least some. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I find my motivation to jog walk by posting my achievable target mileage on FS or FB & go all out for it. Hope it works for you & others too.

These kind of days happen to us all. You've recognized it, which is always the first step to changing it. Remember it's never too late to turn back when you find yourself on the wrong path. You can do this 👍

MattRideGolfRun I find the same thing I usually do post at least my steps and often times my work out. I feel it helps me stay accountable and also good so I can see the progress I'm making or losing.
